 Buckingham Bingo
The Brief
Cambos Enterprises Limited, which owns and operates Buckingham Bingo Clubs, was established in 1969, opening its first Buckingham Bingo Club at Preston in the 1970s. Buckingham Bingo is now the north of England's largest independent bingo club operator with 10 clubs and over 2.5 million attendances per year.
The Bingo industry employs over 20,000 people from callers and change givers to cleaners and accountants. Buckingham Bingo contacted Marta Maratchi in 2004 to design a bespoke uniform for their walkers and catering staff.
The Solution
Because Callers and Catering staff are sometimes rotated in different roles, Marta Maratchi recommended the same garments for all employees.
We bespoke designed a Cotton Polyester Lycra® striped fabric using the colours blue, beige and brown, especially for Buckingham Bingo. This has been produced into overhead style shirts and blouses, and teamed with navy skirts and trousers.
