Amplifon, one the world’s elite designers and dispensers of Digital hearing aids first approached Abacus in 2008, to find not only a practical Wardrobe that would work but also a management and distribution service across all the Amplifon network of nearly 200 hearing centres.

After reviewing the options Amplifon selected a tried and tested product that was easy care, smart and practical to wear and could be home laundered, avoiding expensive dry cleaning bills. The majority of wearers were ladies and after reviewing “stock range” white blouses none were deemed acceptable as being suitable for the ladies in post.

Abacus were tasked with designing and now manufacturing to our customers agreed specification a blouse in both long and short sleeve that were deemed modest for the wearers. Originally this was from a Peach finish white polyester but latterly has been changed to an easy care blended polyester cotton. This new product has been very well received as being more comfortable particularly in summer conditions.
