We have been the trusted supplier to Acorns Nurseries for nearly six years. Acorns have established a respected chain of elite children's nurseries in the Cardiff and surrounding area.

They approached Abacus with a brief to develop a ladies' shirt and trouser that would meet the demands of staff working, playing, feeding and caring for all ages - babies, toddlers and pre-school.

The requirements were for an easy care blouse that was comfortable and presentable when carrying the company logo. The trouser needed to not only be easy care but to have stretch and recovery. This was essential when staff spent most of their time at floor level entertaining the little folk!

Abacus has its own designer and sample room so was ideally placed to develop products in house and pass onto the client for "road testing" with the little customers.

These products are now made not only in our own factory in Hyde but with one of our offshore partners to achieve the competitive edge.
